If you still can’t progress, please contact us using the button below.

If possible, please provide the following:

• A screenshot of the stuck screen
• Details of your device type (eg iPhone X, HP Laptop or Samsung Galaxy Tab 4)
• Details of the browser you are using (eg Google Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer)
• Details of the browser version – this can be found in the browser settings

Ensure you are using the same internet  browser to complete the course in. Changing browsers may remove your progress

• Take a screenshot of the error
• Close the browser
• Log back in
• Contact us and send us the error message for us to investigate and resolve, even if the above steps have resolved the issue

Once you have completed all the required course material, you will be presented with a Take the Exam button.

• Once you have clicked the button you will receive an email from CTH with information on how to sit the exam and your login details.

If you do not pass the examination, you do have the option to retake it at a cost of £60.00 (including VAT). Please be aware that you only have two attempts to re-take the final exam.

At the end of each unit, you will be presented with a Take the Test button. Once you have clicked the button, you will receive an email from CTH with information on how to sit the test and your login details.

The final written exam can be taken on four dates each year. When you have completed the course and successfully passed the end of unit tests, you will be presented with a button to register for the final exam. Once you have clicked this, you will receive an email from CTH with information on how to take the exam.

The final examination can only be taken after successfully passing the online test at the end of each unit. If you do not pass an end of unit test, you can retake it at a cost of £60.00 (including VAT) for each retake. Please be aware that you only have two attempts to retake each online test. If the pass mark is not achieved at this point, you will not be able to progress any further with the course.

You are also allowed a maximum of two re-sit attempts for the final exam, each at the cost of £60.00 (including VAT).

You will need a computer or laptop with a built-in camera. (Tablets or smartphones are not permitted). For the Level 4 course final written exam, an additional device with a built-in camera (smartphone, tablet or laptop) is required.

You will need a government ID as per our terms and conditions. Google Chrome is required for taking the exam.

• On successfully passing the final exam, you will receive a digital certificate to the email address you have used to complete the course and book the exam
• Your certificate will have a unique number for reference on the CTH database
